About Child Car Safety

Child Car Safety mobile app improves the way in which the parents can ensure the safety of their children during the car transportation. The idea behind it started off with the ‘Beloved Child on Board’ project in 2014.

The challenge of Child Car Safety is to educate and improve the parents’ behavior in regard to child safety transportation. The project has multiple ramifications that involve Police training with Romanian Police, knowledge increase programs, and awareness-raising campaigns.

The solution

Child Car Safety App is a cross-mobile app that aims to increase parents’ awareness and knowledge of the appropriate use of safety restraints, and recommends suitable tips to travel safely all the time. The correct use of car seats and booster seats reduces serious and fatal injuries by more than half.

The app features a tag scanner that lets you know whether the car chair you are scanning is complying with the safety regulations as well as if it is suitable for your children. How does the app know if it’s suitable for your children? Within the app, the parents, who share the family account, can create the profiles of their children by filling in essential information for car seat choices: age, height, and weight.
